CHRISTMAS BOXES
Last year, our Mothers & Others team organised a care package for the residents of St Joseph’s Home. Every resident receives a present to open on Christmas Day. The care pack is similar to the Shoe Box Appeal but the ladies are staying local. The boxes are filled with items eg toiletries, Christmas Decoration, magazines, socks. A complete list of recommended items will be provided to those participating. The surplus boxes that were collected last year were given to the Day Care Centre for people who visit the premises during the week. This year they are embarking on the initiative again and hoping to reach a target of 100 boxes split between St Joseph’s Home, Day Care Centre and Ard Alainn Centre so if anyone would like to make a package they can contact Katrina Stack 087 6497469 or Daisy Naughton 087 6755172.
TABLE QUIZ
Laune Rangers LGFA Committee hosted a fantastic Table Quiz on Friday night last, with 24 tables taking part in a hugely enjoyable night in Bunkers. Many thanks to all who took part, and also to all who donated prizes and who helped in the organisation of the night. Our Gaelic For Mothers & Others group also took the opportunity to present their coaches Podge Foley & Michael O’Sullivan with a token of their gratitude for their dedication and hard work this season.

NATIONAL CLUB DRAW
The National Club Draw for 2023 has been launched, and the top prize being drawn on 15th March is an all new Dacia Duster. With €2,000 cash and some great All Ireland Final packages up for grabs, it’s not to be missed.
