SENIOR A TEAM

Kerry Petroleum Intermediate Club Football Championship

Laune Rangers 1-19, Fossa 3-11

It was a breath-taking game that gave us everything, but most importantly Laune Rangers came out on the right side of the result of the Kerry Petroleum County Intermediate Semi Final against Fossa in Fitzgerald Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The first game of the day saw Austin Stacks book their place in the Final with defeat of Glenbeigh/Glencar, so Laune Rangers will have to defeat the same opposition that sent them down to the Intermediate grade if they want to travel in the opposite direction in two weeks’ time.

Final: Laune Rangers vs Austin Stacks on Sunday 8th September at 3pm in Fitzgerald Stadium.

Let’s decorate the parish in blue and white. Flags and bunting available in Mad Mix. Take your photos and email to or tag us on Social Media.

Yesterday, Monday 26th August, the ladies travelled to Templenoe to play ISG in Round 2 coming away with the win. More on that next week.

The Minors will now compete in the County Shield Competition where they travelled to Rathmore yesterday evening for their Quarter-Final tie against Rathmore. The game ended in a draw. A replay will take place on Saturday at 6pm in Rathmore.
