Laune Rangers White 3-13, Churchill 1-13
An early Patryk Radny point was cancelled out by on at the other end for Churchill, before Rangers scored three on the bounce to take an early lead – Seánie Diggin, Stevie Gannon and Patryk Radny all pointing. Stevie Gannon pointed a free before Rangers hit the net for their first goal, as Seánie Diggin was rewarded for his persistence by knocking in a loose ball in the square having been dispossessed seconds earlier. Gannon added another point, but Churchill scored a brace to leave Laune Rangers leading by 1-6 to 0-4. Patryk Radny increased the home side’s lead with a point, but Churchill were level by the break as they scored an unanswered 1-3 in the final minutes of the half.

Gannon & Radny restored Rangers’ lead with points early in the 2nd half, but Churchill halved the gap with a point of their own. A Patrick O’Donnell point was followed by a Stevie Gannon goal that gave Rangers some breathing room at the water break, leading by 2-10 to 1-8. However, Churchill nullified the last two scores by Rangers as they scored four unanswered points to trail by the minimum again, but the home side pulled away again in the final minutes of the game. Three Stevie Gannon points (2 frees) matched an Eoin O’Connell goal, while the visitors scored a final late point.
