Laune Rangers White 2-7, Dromid Waterville 6-11
A stronger Dromid/Waterville team got the better of a young Laune Rangers White team in JP O’Sullivan Park in a County Minor League Division 8 game that was played simultaneously to the Blue Team’s game on Saturday evening.
In a game played as 11 a side, a couple of early and harshly felt black cards left Laune Rangers shorthanded for a large part of the first half when much of the damage was inflicted on the scoreboard by the visitors. However, the Rangers side kept trying to the final whistle and registered a couple of deserved goals of their own along with some well taken points.
