John Mitchels led by 0-4 to 0-1 with fifteen minutes played, as Cormac Sweeney pointed for Rangers. Callum Robertson scored an excellent long range point while Kieran Patton scored two more, but John Mitchels scored their first goal and led by 1-6 to 0-4 at the break.
