Flexachem sponsored Laune Rangers Senior Ladies played the second round of the Junior A Ladies Championship on Monday evening in JP O’Sullivan Park.
Laune Rangers lined out without a few regulars but it made little difference to the team performance on the night. The team were slow to settle into the game and kicked several wides in the first half. As the half wore on they started to settle, backs and midfield were completely on top, the forwards were starting to gel well with Ciara O’Brien and Meadhbh Johnston leading by example kicking some good scores.
Half time score was 3-6 to 0-1 to Laune Rangers.
Throughout the second half the ladies were completely on top kicking some great scores and as the light faded they put some great passages of play together. Laune Rangers ran their bench in the second half, giving as many as possible some game time.
