Laune Rangers Development team were at home Sunday afternoon to table toppers St Michaels Foilmore. Laune Rangers were missing several players due to injuries and other commitments. Laune Rangers hoping to get back to winnings way after last weeks defeat.
St Michaels Foilmore opening the scoring with a point from Alan Goggin but Adam Owens levelled quickly with a fantastic high point in. The opposition added 4 points from play including a two pointer. Laune Rangers gathered possession and quickly burst through with an attack, Cillian Foley making a darting run and working with Adam Owens and Adam with a pass back to Cillian and Cillian making no mistake in burying the ball to back of Foilmore net. Eoghan Joy and Patryk Radny kicked points from play, and visitors kicking two also before Ian O’Sullivan scored a goal in a Foilmore attack. Patryk Radny kicked two pointer before referee blew for half time.

St Michaels/Foilmore started the second half strongly with Jack Clifford opening the half by kicking his second two pointer of the day and Foilmore added an additional 6 points before the home side registered a score for that half. With the visitors ahead by 11-points Laune Rangers staged a late rally – Adam Owens converted a free, Patryk Radny then kicked another point from play. Jack Clifford and Patryk Radny exchanged points but Laune Rangers had the last say in the game in the last attack of the game, Callum Russell slotted a goal into back of Foilmore net.
