Senior Men Development team welcomed Scartaglen to Killorglin on Sunday afternoon. The game originally due to start at 2.15pm was delayed to 2.45pm due to referee encountering a road traffic incident. Scartaglen were tough opposition for Laune Rangers Development Team. Eddie Horan and Darragh Buckley made their presence felt in the opening 15 minutes scoring with Eddie Horan converting 2 frees and both scoring goals. Laune Rangers had points from Adam Owens and Patryk Radny and Colm O’Shea kicked a massive two-pointer to finish the first half.

Laune Rangers opened the scoring in the second half when Scartaglen were deemed to break the 3-back rule, Colm O’Shea converted the free. Scartaglen then added 2 points and a 2 pointer from play. Laune Rangers added a free with two goals the difference at the 15-minute mark in the second half. But Scartaglen were to find the back of Laune Rangers net again with Niall Casey securing Scartaglen’s third goal. Laune Rangers added a succession of points from Colm O’Shea, Marc Clifford, and Patryk Radny – Laune Rangers trailing by 5 heading into the last 10 minutes. But Scartaglen were to punish Laune Rangers further adding another 1-2 – Dan Murphy scoring a goal, Shay Walsh and Padraig Reidy adding points. But Laune Rangers had one last attack and Daragh O’Connor took a shot on goal but it gathered height and went over the bar.
