Laune Rangers 0-6, Dr Crokes 2-18
Dr Crokes produced a powerful performance to defeat Laune Rangers by 2-18 to 0-6 in their County Senior Football League Division 1 clash in Killorglin on Sunday afternoon.
Laune Rangers made a bright start, with Eoin Clifford pointing in the opening minute. However, Dr Crokes quickly took control. They scored points through Alex Hennigan, Maidhcí Lynch and Gavin O’Shea to take the lead.
John Tyther scored a free for Laune Rangers, and Stephen Gannon and Daire Cleary added points from play. Dr Crokes took full control of the tie midway through the first half when Mikey Casey finished to the net for the game’s first goal. Cian McMahon and Charlie Keating added more scores, and by half time, the visitors were ahead by six.

Laune Rangers made some changes for the second half, but it was Dr Crokes who continued to dominate. Eoin Clifford pointed early on, but that would turn out to be Laune Rangers’ only score of the second half.
Crokes pushed on with points from Billy Courtney, Gavin O’Shea, David Shaw, and Alex Hennigan, who was in great form throughout. They added a second goal late in the game when Cian McMahon found the net after a flowing move.
