Laune Rangers and KCYMS Basketball Club have come together for the Killorglin 30K Giveaway.  Laune Rangers’ funds will be focused on developing the Cloon grounds, while the Basketball Club seek to improve facilities for spectators by acquiring tiered seating for games.  Both clubs are looking for the support of the local community.  Tickets €50 can be purchased at the below link.

Our Early Bird Draw took place on Sunday last, August 13th, and the following prizes were won:- €2,500 Marian Healy, Killorglin; €1,500 Ann McGillycuddy, Killorglin; €500 Tommy Byrne, Adare, Co Limerick; €500 Bobby Fitzgerald, Killorglin.  Congratulations to all our winners, who all remain in our main draw on 22nd September.

Laune Rangers travel to Killarney on Sunday afternoon next, August 20th, to take on hosts Legion in Round 2 of the Intermediate Championship.  Throw in 2pm in Derreen.  All Support appreciated

Flexachem sponsored Laune Rangers Senior Ladies start the Kerry LGFA Junior A championship campaign on Monday evening next, August 21st with an away game to Spa Killarney at 7:45pm.  All support is greatly appreciated.

Commiserations to the Kerry Senior LGFA team on their loss in the All Ireland Final on Sunday last, especially our own squad member Ciara O’Brien.

Laune Rangers will take part in the County Minor Club Championships, which begin on September 2nd.

Laune Rangers Minor Girls will take on Castlegregory in their County League Semi Final, but await confirmation of the fixture.

Laune Rangers Under 16 Girls will take on Corca Dhuibhne in the County League Division 4 Final.  Fixture details yet to be confirmed.

U12 White Team are at home to Legion in the final of County League Division 8 Thursday 17th at 7pm. Best of luck to all involved.

Our Sunday morning boys academy takes place every Sunday at 10am in JP O’Sullivan Park.  This is for boys born between 2012-2018  For more info contact Paudie 0862253663.  The Wednesday evening girls academy takes place every Wednesday at 6pm in JP O’Sullivan Park.  This is for girls born between 2013-2018.  For more, contact Selina 0876196676 .  We are delighted to have these academies sponsored by Foley’s Spar and Global Food range this season.
