Spoils were shared between local rivals Laune Rangers and Glenbeigh/Glencar on Sunday afternoon in Round 9 of the Credit Union County Senior Football League Division 2.

Laune Rangers B defeated their Glenflesk counterparts on Friday evening in Phase 2 of the County SFL Division 5 in Glenflesk.

DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE FIXTURE

Laune Rangers travel to Austin Stacks on Friday evening, June 16th in the Couny Developmental League Division 1.  Throw in 7:15pm in Connolly Park.

SENIOR LADIES FIXTURE

Laune Rangers host Cromane in the Kerry LGFA County League this Friday evening, June 16th.  Throw in 7:30pm in JP O’Sullivan Park.

UNDER 21 SEMI FINAL FIXTURE

Laune Rangers take on North Kerry in the Semi Final of the Acorn Life County Under 21 Championship.  The game takes place in Strand Road on Wednesday next, June 21st at 7pm.

TABLE QUIZ

Laune Rangers hosted a very successful table quiz on Friday night last in Bunkers, as part of our Féile fundraising.  Huge thanks to everyone that attended and/or provided spot prizes for the night.  Thanks also to our LGFA committee who organised the quiz, and our quizmaster Andrew Pigott.

the Final fundraiser for Féile is a GAA jersey night in O’Shea’s Bar Langford Street.  Join us in the beer garden wearing your favourite jersey – all jerseys welcome!

UNDER 12 GIRLS

Laune Rangers Under 12 Blue team defeated Knocknagoshel/Brosna on Tuesday evening in JP O’Sullivan Park in the first round of the County League. Knock/Brosna were a strong side and got the first point of the game. It was score for score with Laune Rangers leading at half time 1-7 to 7 points. The second half was just as exciting with Knock/ Brosna clocking up some lovely scores. Laune Rangers managed to get another goal and a handful of points but were down by a point with 2 minutes to go. Just when Laune Rangers needed it the girls got a great goal to go two points ahead, and a minute later another goal was added to give Laune Rangers a 5 point win.  Full Time score :- Laune Rangers 4-10 Knock/Brosna 1-14.
