SENIOR LADIES

Senior Ladies commenced their Credit Union Donal Curtin Campaign on Sunday morning (23rd March) with an away game to Austin Stacks.  A sunny morning with a very strong wind, this was the teams first competitive game since last September.

Austin Stacks were missing a few players so both sides agreed to play 13 a side.  This was to Laune Rangers advantage as most players were available for selection.  The rules for this competition allowed for rolling on and off substitutes throughout the game and the management ensured all players played plenty game time.  Overall Laune Rangers played well on the day and came away with the win.  Congratulations to three minor players who made their senior debut today – Ellie Memery, Sally McGillycuddy and Sarah Patton.
