Well Done to Mid Kerry who defeated Austin Stacks on Sunday to top their group ahead of the Quarter Finals of the County SFC.  Well done especially to the Laune Rangers players in the squad including those who contributed on the day – starters David Mangan, Eoin Clifford & Fiachra Clifford as well as Dáire Cleary & Gearóid Hassett who were introduced off the bench.


Laune Rangers Under 15 White team defeated GGC on Wednesday last in the Mid Kerry Division 2 competition.  Full Time Score:- Glenbeigh/Glencar/Cromane 4-4, Laune Rangers White 3-16.


Laune Rangers Under 15 Blue team travel to Milltown/Castlemaine this Wednesday evening in the Mid Kerry Division 1 competition.  Throw in 6pm


Laune Rangers Under 14 Girls had a great win away versus Kilcummin on Sunday afternoon.  Full Time Score:- Kilcummin 3-9, Laune Rangers 7-10.


Laune Rangers Blue defeated Milltown/Castlemaine at home on Sunday evening in the Mid Kerry Under 13 Division 1 competition.  Full Time Score:- Laune rangers 4-10, Milltown/Castlemaine 0-6.


The U12 White team travelled to Beaufort last week.  They came up against a very strong Beaufort Team.  However, all the girls did put in a great effort on the night.  The U12 Blue team travelled to Rathmore last week and was delighted with their win.  More East Kerry League Football games to look forward to this week.


Laune Rangers travelled to Glenbeigh on Sunday morning for some highly enjoyable Mid Kerry Go-Games.

Laune Rangers GAA were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of John Horgan, who was laid to rest on Saturday afternoon.  A member of the County Minor Championship winning Laune Rangers team in 1977 & and the All Ireland Minor 7 a side winning team in 1978, John Horgan went on to play Senior football for Laune Rangers.  His former team-mates along with fellow members of the Laune Rangers club formed a guard of honour on Saturday afternoon to accompany the funeral cortege from Langford St down to St James Church.  Laune Rangers GAA send our deepest condolences to the family of John Horgan.  Ar dheis Dé go raibh a Anam.
