SENIOR A TEAM

With the sides safe from relegation and hopes of winning the league more or less faded, both Laune Rangers and Glenflesk would have been forgiven for taking the foot off the gas for the rest of the campaign. Instead they served up a fantastic contest no shortage of scores, including half a dozen goals.

Full Time Score:- Glenflesk 2-17, Laune Rangers 4-13.

Senior A now play Ballymacelligott at home next weekend.

SENIOR B TEAM

In a sun-soaked JP O’Sullivan Park, Laune Rangers Development team played St Pats Blennerville on Saturday evening. Final Score: Laune Rangers 2-11, St Pats Blennerville 0-14

Senior Development Team travel to Kilgarvan next weekend.

U21 CHAMPIONSHIP

There were jubilant scenes in JP O’Sullivan Park on Wednesday evening after Laune Rangers defeated competition favourites North Kerry to progress to the Semi Finals of the Acorn Life Under 21 Championship for a second consecutive year – reversing the result from the penultimate stage in 2023 when North Kerry eliminated them en route to winning the competition.

Full Time Score: – Laune Rangers 2-9, North Kerry 0-10.

Laune Rangers will now meet St Brendan’s Board in the Semi Finals of the Acorn Life County Under 21 Championships to be played in neutral venue at end of June.

SENIOR LADIES

Senior Ladies are awaiting the final games in Division 3 to finalise their position on the table and determine if they are in the semi-final positions.

MINOR BOYS

Central District Division 1 Minor Final

They say that goals win games, and that was certainly the case at the John Mitchels grounds in Tralee on Monday evening, when a talented Churchill overcame our gallant minors. The match, which was played in perfect conditions, was well refereed by Mike Moriarty from Keel, which contributed to an entertaining match for the sizeable attendance. Final score: Laune Rangers 1-19 Churchill 5-12

COISTE NA NÓG

U14 Girls – U14 Blue Team played Legion Sunday in JP O’Sullivan Park and despite a gallant display the visitors emerged victorious. White Team play Kerins O’Rahillys on Thursday evening in the Track.

U13 Boys – U13 Boys Blue team played Annascaul/Lispole in JP O’Sullivan Park on Sunday evening and were defeated by stronger side.  The boys played well but it was just not meant to be.

U12 Girls are away to Legion on Tuesday evening at 6.30pm in next round of Go Games.

U11 Boys – U11 Boys played Firies on Thursday evening, a great performance by U11 boys, learning and developing their skills with every session.  They are away to Austin Stacks on Thursday evening at 6.30pm.

U9 Boys – U9 Boys are away to Milltown/Castlemaine on Tuesday evening at 6.15pm.

GAELIC FOR MOTHERS & OTHERS

Laune Rangers Mothers & Others played Milltown/Castlemaine Mothers and Others on Monday evening 27th May. A great evening was had by all, and the mandatory cup of tea and chats afterwards were enjoyable.
