SENIOR MEN
Development Team had an impressive win over Beaufort in the opening round of Mid Kerry League Group 2 game. See below link for match report.
Next weekend the Development team travel to Cromane – it will be played on
Sunday 16th February at 12.30pm.
Senior Team play Keel in their opening game having received a bye in the first round. This game is being played in Cloon pitch due to unavailability of Keel grounds. The game is at 2pm on Sunday 16th February.
HEALTHY CLUBS
Healthy Clubs Committee is busy organising some events for the off-season.
- Ireland Lights Up Challenge will commence on 8th January and run until 12th February. This is the last week of the Ireland Lights Up Challenge and Laune Rangers have clocked up over 7,000kms. One last surge is now required for the remaining few days – challenge will end on 12th February.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Laune Rangers GAA are starting to prepare for next season, if you are interested in interested in volunteering within the Club for the coming year in some capacity. This may involve helping out at boys/girls academies sessions, becoming part of a coaching team, helping out on match day – stewarding, operating the scoreboard, gate collection; female liaison officer, helping with PR activities, lotto and other fundraisers.
The club will be starting the process of safeguarding and coaching courses for the winter. These are now a requirement for anyone volunteering with children, once this is completed it is valid for 3 years.

MONTHLY MEETING
Next monthly meeting will take place on Monday 3rd March 2025 at 8.30pm in the clubhouse at JP O’Sullivan Park.
SCÓR
Scór na bPáistí – The Laune Rangers Qualifying Round of Scór na bPáistí will be held in the ISK, on Wednesday 19th February, at 7.30pm.
The competitions are Figure Dancing, Set Dancing, Solo Step dancing, Solo Singing, Ballad Group, Instrumental Music, Solo Music, Recitation. Competitors must be members of Laune Rangers
The winners on the night will go on to represent Laune Rangers in the Mid-Kerry Final which will be held in the CYMS Hall on Saturday 8th March at 7.00pm.

Scór Sinsir :The County Final of Scór Sinsir will be held in Dúchas House, in the MTU, North Campus, Tralee, on Saturday 1st March.
The competitions are Instrumental Music, Solo Singing, Recitation, Ballad Group, Novelty Act, Figure Dancing, Set Dancing and Tráth na gCeisteanna.
