SENIOR MEN
Round 2 of Mid Kerry League – Development Team travelled to near neighbours Cromane and it was not to be this week – Cromane 3-18 (27), Laune Rangers B 0-9.
Next weekend the Development team host Milltown/Castlemaine – it is currently fixed for
Sunday 26th February at 12pm in Cloon.
Senior Team played Keel in their first game of 2025, the hosts Laune Rangers were comprehensive winners on the day. Laune Rangers 3-15 (24), Keel 0-4.
Senior A team will travel to Glenbeigh also fixed for Sunday 26th at 2pm to play Glenbeigh/Glencar.
HEALTHY CLUBS
Healthy Clubs Committee is busy organising some events for the off-season.
- Ireland Lights Up Challenge has ended with Laune Rangers finishing in 19th place – a total of 15,230kms walked. Well done to all involved, we now eagerly await the results of the draw.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Laune Rangers GAA are starting to prepare for next season, if you are interested in interested in volunteering within the Club for the coming year in some capacity. This may involve helping out at boys/girls academies sessions, becoming part of a coaching team, helping out on match day – stewarding, operating the scoreboard, gate collection; female liaison officer, helping with PR activities, lotto and other fundraisers.
The club will be starting the process of safeguarding and coaching courses for the winter. These are now a requirement for anyone volunteering with children, once this is completed it is valid for 3 years.

MONTHLY MEETING
Next monthly meeting will take place on Monday 3rd March 2025 at 8.30pm in the clubhouse at JP O’Sullivan Park.

Scór na bPáistí –
The Laune Rangers Qualifying Round of Scór na bPáistí was held in the ISK, on Wednesday 19th February, at 7.30pm. More details on the qualifiers for Mid Kerry Final in next weeks notes.
The winners on the night will go on to represent Laune Rangers in the Mid-Kerry Final which will be held in the CYMS Hall on Saturday 8th March at 7.00pm.
Scór Sinsir :The County Final of Scór Sinsir will be held in Dúchas House, in the MTU, North Campus, Tralee, on Saturday 1st March.
The competitions are Instrumental Music, Solo Singing, Recitation, Ballad Group, Novelty Act, Figure Dancing, Set Dancing and Tráth na gCeisteanna.

IRISH PILGRIMAGE TRUST NEEDS YOUR HELP
The Irish Pilgrimage Trust has put a call out to the club to look for old Kerry jerseys for their clients to take to Lourdes with them at Easter. Jerseys can be either donated or they can be returned also if required. Please contact Eoghan O’Grady if you can assist 086 9895419
