INTERMEDIATE CHAMPIONSHIP FIXTURE: Laune Rangers will have a home fixture in the next round of the Intermediate Championship. They will host the winner of next weekends game between Milltown/Castlemaine and Na Gaeil. That Round 2 fixture takes place on weekend of September 18th/19th – no further details confirmed at time of writing
SENIOR LADIES FIXTURE: Laune Rangers will take part in the Kerry LGFA Junior A Championship, with the first game taking place on this Sunday, September 12th away to Abbeydorney. Throw in 12pm. All support much appreciated.

MINOR GIRLS: There was disappointment for the Minor girls on Thursday evening as they were soundly beaten in the County Division 4 Final by a much stronger Fossa side in Fitzgerald Stadium. To their credit, they battled until the final whistle and had much of the attack in the second half but couldn’t convert their pressure to scores. It ends the Minor (U18) season as the team can hold their heads high for making a Final, but just came up against a side that were probably operating a Division or two below their level. There is a Under 17 competition upcoming that all bar three of the squad are eligible for.
UNDER 16 GIRLS: Laune Rangers Under 16 Girls also ended their season this week with defeat away to Firies in their County League Semi Final. The home side proved far too strong for an understrength Rangers team without a couple of key players. The U16 players will also look forward to the Under 17 Championship game coming up on Wednesday, 22nd September.
