Round 3 of Mid Kerry League – Development Team travelled to Paddy Burke Park Milltown on Sunday which was originally fixed for Killorglin but the rainfall on Saturday night had the pitch unplayable. Very windy conditions on the day and saw the men from Laune losing narrowly by 2 points, Laune Rangers B 1-14, Milltown/Castlemaine 1-16

Senior A team will travel to Glenbeigh which has been fixed for Sunday 2nd at 2pm to play Glenbeigh/Glencar. The original fixture fell victim to the rainfall this weekend.

HEALTHY CLUBS

 Healthy Clubs Committee is currently busy organising some new initiatives for Laune Rangers and the wider community.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Laune Rangers GAA are starting to prepare for next season, if you are interested in interested in volunteering within the Club for the coming year in some capacity.  This may involve helping out at boys/girls academies sessions, becoming part of a coaching team, helping out on match day – stewarding, operating the scoreboard, gate collection; female liaison officer, helping with PR activities, lotto and other fundraisers.

The club will be starting the process of safeguarding and coaching courses for the winter.  These are now a requirement for anyone volunteering with children, once this is completed it is valid for 3 years.

MONTHLY MEETING

Next monthly meeting will take place on Monday 3rd March 2025 at 8.30pm in the clubhouse at JP O’Sullivan Park.

The winners from qualifying round will represent Laune Rangers in the Mid-Kerry Final which will be held in the CYMS Hall on Saturday 8th March at 7.00pm.

Scór Sinsir : The County Final of Scór Sinsir will be held in Dúchas House, in the MTU, North Campus, Tralee, on Saturday 1st March.

The competitions are Instrumental Music, Solo Singing, Recitation, Ballad Group, Novelty Act, Figure Dancing, Set Dancing and Tráth na gCeisteanna.

IRISH PILGRIMAGE TRUST NEEDS YOUR HELP
